What is your background?
I grew up in the Ruhr Area in Germany, but I have relocated many times around Europe over the past few years. I am currently living in The Hague, where I work as a Project Officer for a European network of organisations that support social entrepreneurs and impact-driven leaders. I have a Masters’ degree in International Relations and a keen interest in international development, as well as civil society movements.
What is your involvement with PROJECT-E?
I have been working in the Fundraising Department since October 2020. So far, I have carried out research for new funding opportunities, and I was involved in writing and proof-reading several applications and reports. I am also part of the online event team, where we are currently discussing about potential speakers for upcoming virtual events.
What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about social innovation for equality, and how dedicated people can create a positive impact for society. I experience this both in my job and in PROJECT-E. Seeing that our work translates into improving the living conditions of young Ethiopian women is really rewarding.
