Meet Eva at today’s Team Thursday!

What is your background?

I am Dutch and Indonesian but, due to my parents‘ work, I was raised in various countries, including Zambia, Sudan, North Macedonia and The Netherlands. I have had the privilege of moving around and learning about different countries and cultures because of my upbringing, which has also helped me to realise that those who have the resources and knowledge should stand up for those who are not as fortunate.

What is your involvement with PROJECT-E?

At PROJECT-E I am a Media Relations Coordinator, in charge of contacting external organisations and individuals with the aim of establishing new partnerships for PROJECT-E. Additionally, there are opportunities for me to expand my role, potentially by providing more creative content, which I look forward to as well.

What are you passionate about?

I am extremely passionate about standing up for women’s rights, equality, economic empowerment and development, environmental rights, and more. I am very excited to have gotten the chance to volunteer for PROJECT-E as I believe it strongly coincides with my values and gives me great opportunities to learn and grow. Furthermore, I am passionate about sports and making creative content, from writing to videography, which is why I am grateful for my position at PROJECT-E.
