Learn another member of the Talent Management team, Rafael!
What is your background?
I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Management and International Relations in December 2018 and I will start my Master’s in International Management at NOVA SBE in September 2019 in Lisbon, Portugal. Apart from my academic activities, I completed a 6-month internship at Microsoft Austria in the field of Partner Development, worked as a volunteer with refugees in Portugal and worked at our university’s student government association.
What is your involvement with PROJECT-E?
I am part of the Talent Management Department of PROJECT-E since April 2019. Additionally, I am currently (July 2019) in Addis Ababa volunteering at the Hospitality Institute where I am mainly in charge of teaching IT classes to the girls in Level 1 and Level 2.
What are you passionate about?
My biggest passions are travelling and getting to know other cultures and people. Through my involvement at PROJECT-E, I was able to learn about the unique Ethiopian culture and people. I really enjoy such volunteering experiences since they allow me to help others and seeing them prosper while at the same time realizing how colorful and unique the world actually is. For this reason, I feel very privileged to be taking part in PROJECT-E and seeing young ambitious women become confident and self-sufficient professionals!
